• Camera: To scan and capture documents directly within the app. Camera data is only used for document scanning and is not shared.

Your documents are stored on secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 cloud storage with encryption. Access to documents is controlled through authenticated, time-limited signed URLs.

We use industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transfers
• Token-based authentication (Laravel Sanctum)
• Encrypted cloud storage
• Secure password hashing

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data or documents with third parties. Your documents are only accessible to you and family members you explicitly grant access to.

We may use the following third-party services:

• Firebase: For authentication and push notifications
• Amazon S3: For secure document storage

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual documents at any time. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us.

Children's Privacy

DocsVault is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
